Long-time grower Louis Lucas and retired Judge Royce Lewellen created Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards with but one objective in mind–to create fine winefrom their premium Santa Barbara County vineyards.
From Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot,and Malbec varieties, all grown on our estate vineyards, wecarefully blend a core of Cabernet Sauvignon with smallpercentages of the other varieties. The result is a distinctive andrefined wine with layers of blackberry and fig jam notes withsilky tannins and a long finish.
